I don’t know about you guys, but I always saw the parallel between these two scenes more than this Korra and Aang scratching his bum. 

It’s just got so many layers. Korra and Aang both doing some goofy bodily function. Them working on the one element that they’ve been struggling with, and with children that obviously know more about what they’re doing than they do.
